After experiencing first hand a life threatening event, Lashan Petties, head instructor at Dezign 2 Teach Concealed Carry, turned a potentially fatel encounter into a deep motivation to became an advocate for not only women's safety, but the safety of her fellow community.

 

As one of the few certified, black female concealed carry instructors in the city of Chicago, Lashan has certfied over a 1,000 individuals since the inception of Dezign 2 Teach Concealed Carry in 2020. Lashan is dedicated to providing acessiable gun rights education with the goal of ensuring the safety for all.​​
